After a few opening remarks from the venue’s General Manager, Cory Russell, Blackout Flair took to the stage to show off their mad bartending skills with impressive moves with fire and cocktail creations that certainly captivated the crowd. The décor was stunning with centrepiece blooms and large cherry blossom trees provided by Vintage Bash. The fun balloon garland adorning one of Deer Creek’s golf carts – designed by The Fete Studio – also made for a great photo opportunity! From the lighting to the centerpieces, it was clear that no detail was overlooked.
When it came to food, guests enjoyed a variety of delicious catered stations including a Dim Sum Station featuring yummy steamed pork buns and chicken wonton as well as a Charcuterie Station including genoa salami, coppa, and prosciutto just to name a few. A Spud Martini Bar Station included choice of potato or sweet potato mash as well as an array of toppings from which to choose. Of course, we can’t forget about the decadent Dessert Station which included macaroons, cake bites and a variety of fresh fruit!
The media wall and red carpet set up by Mobile Productions Event Group also made guests feel like celebrities. Groups were interviewed in the spotlight and were given the opportunity to introduce themselves and share what they enjoy most about the venue.
No doubt, the event was a fabulous experience for all guests who attended. They were treated to a fantastic evening of music, cocktails, and delicious food while also having the opportunity to explore the newly renovated venue and rebrand. The music added an electric atmosphere that kept everyone entertained and even dancing! The cocktails were expertly crafted, providing the perfect accompaniment to all the delicious food. Overall, it was an event that showcased the best of what the venue had to offer, leaving guests with fond memories and a desire to return again for their next event!
