“Having had to postpone by two years, Emily and Myles were absolutely stoked to finally host their stunning Muskoka Wedding at Sherwood Inn. The design for their wedding was inspired by their mutual love of the mountains given that they are both avid skiers and hikers. t the end of the ceremony, servers passed out sparkling wine to toast the couple’s first kiss and then the couple made their way through a tunnel of guests throwing biodegradable confetti. The tablescapes, with their fluffy florals and muted tones, were all done by Hunt and Gather. An added touch was the pressed floral place cards positioned at table names all named after their fave ski runs. We custom-built table lamps to add ambient lighting in the room with incredible climbing puffs of terra cotta babies breath. Instead of a traditional cake, they did a shockingly massive cake made of cheese wheels and danced the night away to a live 10-piece band.”

“Jamie and Dean’s beautiful wedding at Fairmont Royal York was one of our favourites from 2022. Planning a wedding during the pandemic was an extremely stressful process, especially for Jamie and Dean who had to change their venue one month prior to the wedding date, due to the ever-changing capacity limits and rules imposed by the government. Although it was a challenging time, Jamie and Dean stayed positive throughout the entire process and the wedding was a huge success! The couple dreamed of an all-white wedding and together with R5 Event Design, we perfectly executed their vision. The ceremony consisted of a gorgeous and elaborate chuppah adorned with a variety of white florals. The aisle was flanked with white florals atop white pedestals and shimmering candles. At the reception, guests were seated at long, white, rectangular tables complimented with gorgeous, long and low arrangements full of white florals. The remaining, round tables incorporated white, velvet linens with a stunning, tall, all-white centerpiece placed in the middle. A variety of candles were placed on all tables to enhance the romantic feel. The tabletop consisted of stylish and sophisticated pieces with white and acrylic elements. Guests danced the night away while enjoying live music from the band, Soular, who provided a white sound system and was situated on an all-white stage to complete the chic and modern look requested by the clients. It was truly a very special wedding filled with love!”
“Wedding season 2022 was a blur. We had to juggle all the various clients forced to re-shift their wedding plans due to the pandemic with all the other couples who were already scheduled for
2022. Of course, it’s or job to ensure that every bride is able to bring her vision to life, despite all the challenges. The one wedding this season that stood out to me was from my bride, Zara. Zara wanted the traditional colourful henna evening but also wanted the sophisticated, elegant reception filled with lush, real flowers and the sweetest details. She found the perfect venue at Casa Loma, and so it was then up to me to bring her vision to life with an incredible team of vendors. Her henna night was filled with vibrant colours, a gorgeous floor wrap designed to compliment the decor, vesteria hanging flowers on the main stage, and an evening filled with entertainment hitting every note! Her reception was breathtaking and magical.
From place settings to cascading floral arrangements, to the beautiful sound of the violin while guests entered the room, Zara made her debut entrance amongst family and friends in the glass conservatory and made her way to the stage in the library of the castle. You could smell the gorgeous arrangements, the lighting was perfect and complimented her gorgeous gown. This was, in every which way, my favourite wedding. The clients’ willingness to hear my recommendations, the selected vendors, and the trust and autonomy provided to my team and me. Every last detail was perfect! It’s even more incredible when clients become new friends along the way.”

“It’s always very difficult to pick just one favourite wedding from the past seasons, because I actually have many favourite weddings every year and each of them is very unique. Lisa and Jean-Marc’s wedding took place at the beautiful The Doctor’s House in Kleinburg. Their ceremony took place on the newly-built patio overseeing the forest. The design that we picked for their wedding perfectly reflected our couple’s visions. It was modern, stylish, and sleek with some dramatic accents of burgundy and black, with some geometrical shapes on the chairs, charger plates, and dance floor all complimented with tons and tons of candles. The open concept of the venue room with it’s large windows, allowing for plenty of natural light. When Lisa and Jean-Marc walked into the room, I saw tears on Lisa’s face, they were both stunned by how much their vision came to life, and for me as a wedding planner, it was the best and the most emotional moment – the moment that makes it all worthwhile! Feeling so grateful and blessed for being able to do what I love doing so much!”
“We were lucky to have helped so many couples plan and design their dream weddings last year, which makes choosing just one of our favourites so hard! Each wedding has its own special moments and details we love and all of our clients truly have a special place in our hearts. If we have to pick just one, it has to be Sabrina and Zachary’s wedding. the couple hosted a beautiful summer wedding at Chateau Le Parc, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. We loved their unique and fresh colour palette of peaches, pastel blues, crisp whites and delicate yellows, which was consistently incorporated throughout their wedding décor.
Our couple really stressed the importance of guest experience and prompt service, so we made sure to give them an oversized oval bar with 360 degree service for their guests to enjoy during cocktail hour. Sabrina and Zachary wanted a unique floor plan experience and we gave them just that – a Tetris-inspired and uniquely curated floor plan featuring an interesting table layout and a 44 ft long head table stage to elevate their bridal party and significant others. We always love to infuse personal aspects of our clients’ personalities into their weddings, and we did this by curating a completely customized seating chart experience, using authentic tiles carved by the groom to pay homage to his family business.
Sabrina and Zachary’s guests were treated to some fun late night snacks in customized packaging featuring the couple’s monogram as they danced the night away to their fabulous live band. All of the unique and personal touches, fun colour palette, and working with one of the sweetest couples are just a few reasons why Sabrina and Zachary’s wedding is one of our favourites of 2022. Their wedding was an experience their guests will remember for years to come, and so will we!”

“One of my favourites from this past season was this couples’ forest wedding complete with tent, ceiling high natural florals, pretty string lights, and overall rustic-meets-modern aesthetic. With a nod to the couples’ love of science fiction stories, we wanted to keep the vibe light and whimsical, almost straight out of a fairytale.

“We designed a dark and romantic evening, held in the heart of Toronto for Sukhmani and Simran’s wedding reception. A moody floral colour palette, an abundance of delicious food, and a 40 foot long bar with interactive drinks complimented the venue’s dynamic energy and rustic elegance perfectly. The guests danced the night away with one of the best views of the CN Tower that the city has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed planning this wedding as the couple entrusted us to put together their design for all aspects of the day – everything from the layout of the brewery, to all of the rentals, down to the style of chairs and tabletop elements. After numerous hours of planning, several site visits, and managing logistics for over 15 vendors, the end result was incredibly beautiful and everything the couple hoped for. And for that, we are grateful.”

“This sweet couple finally had their wedding after postponing two times. We had a mini storm right after their outdoor ceremony but luckily, the rain had let up just in time for the fireworks! I picked their wedding as my 2022 favorite wedding because I love their vivid summer wedding colours and personalized details. Their intimate-style wedding also allowed their guests to fully enjoy the wedding with the couple! Kenzie and her team at Sugar Suite made this wedding sweeter with beautiful cakes and hand-painted cookie place cards!”
“Chika and Dale are a couple that we will always hold near and dear to our hearts. After having to postpone their wedding due to COVID, they experienced a few life shifts, most importantly, welcoming their baby boy Eze into the world. They truly were dream clients and allowed me to take their garden wedding to the next level by adding some great touches and amazing stationery. I consulted with Chika on her bridal look as well. They have the most beautiful union and had the most epic and amazing wedding day at The Doctor’s House, a day our team will never forget.”

“This wedding is very special in two unique ways – the wedding itinerary and the decor.
When we first met our couple, Selina and Yaro, they talked about their dream wedding – boho style – chill, casual, where they can be themselves. They didn’t want to follow the traditional itinerary. Instead of posing all day, they preferred their photographers to capture more real and candid moments on their wedding day. For example, unlike most weddings, they had chosen to take a lunch break just by themselves in their favourite pizza restaurant and enjoyed their alone time. These “get-ready photos” were truly unique and memorable.
The wedding venue is Spencer’s at the Waterfront, the most seaside-like venue in Toronto/Burlington area, hence why we decided to combine the island style that was originally inspired from this venue and the boho style that the couple both liked. Through both of these inspirations, we made this indoor island-boho-style wedding dream come to reality!
We used elements such as fairy lights, cattail leaf fans, reeds, and gypsophila to create the island-boho-style vibe. The moon-shaped arch, woven chairs, and wooden tables look harmonious and comfortable together. The fairy lights were hung all over on the wooden columns, and after sunset, the fairy lights were on and it made the vibe more romantic.”
“Rebecca and Ryan planned and re-planned their wedding over the pandemic, even changing venues. We worked with the couple for just over 2.5 years to ensure they had the most magical day with their closest friends and family. The spring wedding emphasized florals with soft hues and a sprinkling of blue touches created by Hunt and Gather. We wanted to embrace the traditional aspects of the venue (using the same venue where the bride’s parents also got married), while still having a minimalist vibe so keeping it very fresh and white helped merge the styles. The wedding has lots of details like the custom, hand-drawn gold foil napkins of their doggy, Zoe. All bespoke stationery details like the curved table numbers and arched 6ft seating charts were designed by the talented Paula Lee Calligraphy. The guests ended the night with live music by the St. Royal Entertainment to dance the night away!”

“Caleigh and Jeff always wanted their wedding to feel moody, dramatic, and unique. When chatting, it was clear they longed for an enchanting and whimsical vibe while still embodying their love for an edgier aesthetic. Fermenting Cellar was the perfect backdrop for their dark color palette, chic decor, and lush flowers and was the only venue the couple visited. Their wedding truly was a highlight of our season and we’re so happy to share these beautiful images.
We incorporated black bentwood chairs, tons of candles and wild blooms to line the aisle for their ceremony setup. Jordana from White Oak created the most dramatic and overgrown arch to soften the distressed ceremony space and set the stage for their vow exchange. For the reception, crystal chandeliers and a statement floral install over the head table brought the perfect amount of ambiance and romance. A custom neon sign was the focal point for their long head table and black tapered candles graced each table amping up the moody and romantic ambiance. The tables brought all the drama with smokey black accents, wine toned napkins, and deep rose velvet linens by Simply Beautiful Decor. A delicious dinner moved seamlessly into a night of dancing and festivities under a ceiling of string lights.
Although their day was filled to the brim with all things beautiful, what made their wedding so memorable to me was the pure joy the couple radiated from beginning to end. You could really feel all the love in the room. It’s so fulfilling to see a couple take in every moment of their wedding day and focus on what is truly important, not to mention exude such gratitude for their family, friends, and those who made it all happen. It was beyond an honour to help plan and design their day and our team is immensely grateful to have been part of such a meaningful celebration.”
“Danielle and Matt wanted a country wedding without any of the classic rustic barn vibes. Brighthouse Farm was the perfect venue to achieve a modern, minimalist barn wedding filled with light and clean lines. Danielle and Matt’s wedding embodied everything that they are as a couple, classy, fun, relaxed and inviting. Each guest was greeted at their seat with a handwritten note from the bride and groom, ensuring they knew how important and special it was that they were there to celebrate. Extra thought and detail went into every piece from the delicate, white blooms placed along the tables to the custom wood seating chart and bar signs, it all fit effortlessly together and with the venue.”
“Torera and Bunmi are one of the most fun, sweet, loving, and kind couples we’ve ever worked with. They knew what they wanted and trusted us right from the planning phase to the production day. The goal was to create a modern-luxury, elegant, lush, and upscale affair.
Upon exchanging their vows on the gorgeous grounds of Hazelton Manor, our simple yet stylish couple had an exquisite reception filled with beautiful details, stylish calligraphy, stunning tall cherry blossom floral centerpieces with hanging tealights, and a head table adorned with candles and florals.
This wedding had so many touching and memorable moments that made it unique and special. The elegant beauty of this wedding, the color scheme, and the overall guest experience made this one of our favorites of the season.
We pride ourselves in making sure that we fulfill the couple’s dreams and visions and ensure that all guests have a memorable and top-notch experience. Definitely one for the books!”
“My favourite wedding of 2022, was at The Omni King Edward Hotel. I’ve experienced some incredible honours since starting this business, but this one holds a special place in my heart, as my best friend was getting married! I was fortunate enough to be both her wedding planner and her maid of honour. Caroline and James had to postpone twice due to COVID-19, so we had plenty of time to nail down the finer details. I felt pretty confident that I knew what Caroline was envisioning for her big day, and she trusted me from the get-go. The end result was the most elegant and timeless wedding for an intimate group of 80 guests. It was beyond special to be able to be a part of Caroline and James’s wedding in such a meaningful way!”

“This wedding was a true labour of love for Hilary and Jeff. This wedding was full of little details, a fresh colour palette, all complimented with modern touches.
Jeff was originally from Toronto and met Hilary in New York City. With tons of inspiration from which to draw, we ended up using their meeting location as the theme of their wedding. Zoe from Secrets Floral Collection took the colour scheme and knocked the florals out of the park with the statement centerpieces. We also included adorable yellow taxi soap wedding favours custom made by Demo Soap, continuing with the NYC theme.
One of my favourite elements was the ceremony stage, where instead of having the couple and the wedding party sitting there, it was used as a backdrop for photos. We created the flow of the event by having guests welcomed by a champagne wall and live jazz music at cocktails, followed by a ceremony before dinner. We finished off the evening with a choreographed first dance to kick off the dance floor.”
“Mara & Tyler’s wedding was a long time coming. Twice postponed due to the pandemic, the third time was the charm! The design aesthetic was modern and neutral, with the Walper Hotel in Kitchener as the perfect backdrop for both the ceremony and reception. The bride’s dress change and the champagne tower was a highlight of the evening and such a fun way to kick off the dance party.”
“Shiran and Mike’s Met Gala themed wedding is easily one of my most memorable events from last year. It was a true joy to brainstorm and plan such fun ideas with this truly creative couple! As the theme developed, we incorporated a touch of Marie Antoinette rococo fashion and an edgy pink and green colour palette. We hired a strolling table dressed like Marie Antoinette to greet the guests with a glass of bubbly. The ceremony featured some incredible details like the Groom’s 16′ long train, the Bride’s enormous crown, the wedding party walking the aisle like a fashion catwalk, ballerinas carrying Shiran and Mike’s daughter down the aisle, and the chuppah flowers inspired by Marie Antoniette’s wig. During cocktail hour, the guests could stroll through an Art Gallery set-up that incorporated artwork by the Bride and Groom’s friends, based around the theme “Till Death Do Us Part”. For their First Dance, we hired stunt doubles to professionally dance dressed as the Bride and Groom. It fooled the guests for a good minute!
No idea was ever too far-fetched which is what I loved most about this wedding. Shiran and Mike are both creative directors in LA so this wedding was a true reflection of their desire to surprise the guests at every turn and have a one-of-a-kind celebration. The guests also showed up dressed to impress. One wore a working lampshade as a hat! It was apparent the entire day and night how much fun all the guests were having, and most importantly, the Bride and Groom. It is a wedding I will never forget!”

“2022 was by far the most crazy and the most fun wedding season to date! Scott and Sydney are two of the most lovely and kind hearted people you will ever meet. They had a vision of an intimate, warm and inviting celebration with an emphasis on a relaxed and memorable celebration. The Broadview Hotel was the perfect space to create a warm, inviting atmosphere while allowing us the flexibility of adding accents of jewel tones, warm candlelight and stunning floral installations across the space. It was so special witnessing friends and family who hadn’t seen each other in quite some time gather to celebrate.”

“Having been together since high school, Monica and Antonio originally had their wedding scheduled in 2021 but due to the pandemic had to pivot and only do their ceremony. They wanted to share the day fully with all their friends and family so we did a redo of their special day and had a vow renewal. I called it Monica and Antonio 2.0.
Our meetings were always filled with laughter and tears as we discussed exactly what their wedding meant to them and their family. When we first met we just connected instantly and that always makes planning much more fun. They are a fun loving couple, who don’t take themselves too seriously.“
