Wedding Open House at Old Mill Toronto

On a beautiful and sunny winter’s day, The Old Mill Toronto welcomed hundreds of newly engaged couples to their annual wedding open house. Located in Toronto’s west-end, and nestled by the charms of the Humber River, this landmark venue – offering 20,000 square feet and 16 unique event spaces – plays host to hundreds of weddings every year with the versatility to accommodate large events up to 400 guests or intimate gatherings of 10. Let’s tour through the various spaces, shall we? A big thanks to Luna Weddings Photography for all the lovely photos!

The Guildhall offers guests a charming and intimate space. Flooded with plenty of natural light thanks to the room’s floor-to-ceiling windows, the elegantly decorated tablescapes were provided by Chair Decor, Plate Occasions, and Oleander Floral Design. Personally, I loved the water goblets, which are still a continuing trend for 2023.

The Westminster Room is decorated with a classic Gatsby theme created by the team Vintage Bash perfectly complimenting the natural gold accents of the room. Black and gold are always a favourite for any type of event and the gold chivari chairs from Majestic Chair Boutique certainly brightened up the space.

Next up, the Royal Oak Room is your quintessential choice for a High Tea Bridal Shower – the individual teapots are so cute along with the tasty treats provided by the venue’s in-house pastry chef.

Located on the 2nd floor the Humber Room and Kingsbrook are bright and airy for those intimate events of 50-80 guests and work great for a minimalist look.

Lastly, the Balmoral Room is so lovely in pink, my favourite colour and the beautiful flowers were stunning by Michelle Marie Kelly.

Let’s meet some of the talented vendors who make the magic happen! Patricia’s Cake Creations are just as stunning in person. It’s so hard not to eat all the samples she provided. They taste just as good as they look.

To help keep a figurative spring in everyone’s step, guests enjoyed music from Brent Miller LIVE, Maximum Music, and the MacMillan Entertainment Group.

..and of course, no open house is complete without sensational food! Old Mill‘s in-house chef made some of the tastiest mac & cheese you will ever have! Guests loved the pasta station and antipasto bar.

Cheers to the Old Mill team for hosting another successful open house (it’s been 3 years since the last one). Congratulations to all the couples who came out to enjoy the yummy treats, live music, and good conversations with all the talented vendors.
